It went up and down smoothly.
Your weight is operating with the exact same pattern.
All your previous efforts were like trying to get that seesaw moving with someone 3 or 4 times your weight.

The food you eat causes a corresponding insulin and blood sugar rise.
You need a controlled insulin rise and blood sugar rise.
It isn’t all about calories. If your meal doesn’t have the right balance of protein, fat, and types of carbs…then the seesaw won’t be balanced either.
When that seesaw isn’t balanced, your blood sugar isn’t balanced.
Your insulin levels aren’t balanced.
And insulin causes your body to grow.
We want a small insulin spike after a meal…not a large one…

What Excess Sugar In Your Bloodstream Has To Do With Your Weight
Sugar or glucose is like fuel to a car.
You need sugar for energy and you get it in the form of food.
But the system gets tripped up when you have it in excess.
Think of it like going to fill your car up with gas, and you overfill it.
I had that happen to me a couple of times. Gasoline poured onto the ground, I got some on my shoes, and pants. Had to go around smelling like gas!

When you eat foods that cause your blood sugar to spike you create processes in your body:
That seesaw we talked about doesn’t get balanced and it either goes down too quickly, or it doesn’t go down at all.
The easiest way to handle all four of these, is to balance your blood sugar.
When you balance your blood sugar, it’s like being on that seesaw with your twin.
That seesaw goes up and down slowly.
I know it sounds simple, and it really is, once you understand which foods are wreaking havoc and how to limit them or replace them with the right foods.

It’s a funny world we live in.
You have athletes endorsing fast food. Probably athletes who rarely eat the foods they’re endorsing.
And if they do, it’s usually once in a blue moon.
